PRA's 11th International Woodcoatings Congress will be taking place from October 23-24, 2018 in Amsterdam, hosted by the PRA World, in partnership with Vincentz Network.

Sustainable aesthetics and protection
Following the very successful sell-out conference held in 2016, this conference will also be held in Amsterdam and again provides a unique opportunity for personal interaction with like-minded professionals – disseminating new technology, exchanging ideas, collaboration and networking.

Wood remains a popular construction material, especially in residential markets, but also faces competition from various non-wood alternatives, such as wood-plastic composites, plastic and fibre cement, which offer greater dimensional stability and resistance to microbial attack. Wood coatings formulators need to be continuously alert to new technology which can aid the advancement of the coatings industry and counteract these competitive threats.

Companies and research institutes are invited to submit abstracts describing new scientific and technical developments in coatings for interior or exterior wood applications. A range of papers is welcome, from fundamental research to practical end-use applications: from research institutes, academia, raw material suppliers, equipment manufacturers and paint formulating companies.
